Tigers vs Queens

U14 Boys took an opening day win over Queens. Queens took an early lead in the first period, however the Tigers fought back in the second period and pressed home their advantage with Queens on team fouls to lead 29-17. An even third period saw Queens fight back from 33-19 to reduce the gap to 36-25. Tigers took the win by 16, 46-30 – Great work from coaches Sean Donnelly and Bobbie.

U16 Boys fell to an opening day defeat against Queens. A young Tigers team competed well in the first period and trailed 7-2, however they had a difficult second period against a well drilled Queens team and trailed 25-2. Coach Scottie changed all five mid way through the third period and the boys responded to trail 36-8 with some late scores. The fourth ended 46-13 with Queens taking the win. The great thing is, there is always another game – keep it positive.

U18 Boys took the win against Queens on the opening day. A majority of the team from last years U16 boys took to the court and lead Queens 18-9 after the first period. They continued to press in the second and lead 40-22 moving into the third. Tigers did not let up and extended their lead to 60-32 at the end of the third and pushed in the fourth to take the win 80-40 for a terrific opening day win. A great job from coach Scottie and the team.
