Torraine Sears Memorial Tournament 2017 Day 2

Day 2 of the #tsmt2017 saw 11 games played in a very busy and challenging day for the young players, coaches and supporters.
First up saw a fantastic game between Sligo and Blue Demons. These two teams went head to head is a very competitive game which seem Blue Demons just edge it.
Next up was Rolestown taking on the defending champions Manchester Gaints and in a very tight game, Rolestown came out on top 40-36 to maintain their unbeaten record and inflict a first lost on the Giants.
Third game up was another superb game as BNI took on St Mirren – two very evenly matched teams put on a fantastic display. St Mirren jumped to an early lead but BNI fought their way into the game and ended up taking the win in the fourth quarter.
Next up Rolestown maintained their impressive form by taking the win over Sligo and Manchester Giants got back to winning ways by taking the win over St Mirren. Sligo took a great victory over BNI and Manchester Giants took an impressive win over Blue Demons.
Another very entertaining game seen Sligo take on St Mirren. This match was so close the whole way through and in the end Sligo took the win, but credit to both teams, players and coaches for putting on such a great game.
Rolestown maintained their unbeaten streak by taking the win over Blue Demons who had back to back games as they took on St Mirren in another very close game. At the end of the 3rd period their was only 1 point in this game, but Blue Demons summoned up one last effort and took the win.
The game of the day saw BNI face off agaist Manchester Giants. BNI lead going into the 2nd period, but Giants brought on the A team and took control of the game and took the victory.
End of Day 2 saw some fantastic close basketball, some superb ball handling skills, great game play and great competition.
